CincoLife announces summer activities - June 2009

The Lake House, one of the newest amenities in west Houston’s 7,600-acre Cinco Ranch master-planned community, is much more than a beautiful (and environmentally friendly) building. The Lake House is also the hub of activity for CincoLife, a vibrant community service organization which organizes a year-round slate of events for Cinco Ranch residents.

Most events are free and take place at The Lake House, unless otherwise noted.

All summer long, residents are invited to attend two Dive-In Movie events and two Summer Series Cooking Lessons each month (June, July and August) at The Lake House.

Major holiday events include a Father’s Day Fishing Tournament and an Independence Day Celebration, both at The Beach Club at Cinco Ranch.

Other fun activities include a Family Fun Art Workshop at The Lake House on June 27, a CincoLlife Community Blood Drive on July 26, and a Master Gardeners Class on August 13.

CincoLife wraps up summer with a Back To School Bash on August 21 at The Water Park at Cinco Ranch.

A few of the many ongoing activities planned by CincoLife include yoga lessons in both the morning and evening on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Zumba classes on Mondays and Wednesdays help residents take part in the latest dance and aerobic craze. For more fitness, a Running Group meets Saturday mornings before taking off on the miles of greenbelt trails in Cinco Ranch. Other ongoing groups include a Mom’s Club and Book Club.
